601 and 701 South 12th Street, a campus of over 560,000 square feet, has been awarded LEED-EBOM Silver Certification. The two office building, located conveniently near Pentagon City, followed a Master Site certification approach; a holistic approach for documenting overlapping strategies between buildings relative to site, waste management, vendors, etc.
SBP provided consulting services, while working closely with property management and building engineers under LEED for Existing Building Operations & Maintenance. This includes offering guidance to the property management, vendors, and engineers through the feasibility & project planning, development of the path to compliance, pre-performance period set-up, oversight during the performance period on through the LEED application submission, reviews, responses and ultimate credit approvals.
