BUILDING HIGHLIGHTS

Highlights: Victor Building is a 349,687 square foot, 9-story LEED Gold Certified Class A mixed-use office and retail building located in Washington, DC’s historic Penn Quarter. The building occupants are blocks away from two metro stations, Gallery Place-Chinatown Station and Metro Center Station.

This project utilized the Brookfield Volume Program, which allows the project to streamline the submission for multiple Brookfield buildings by using documents that were pre-approved by the USGBC. The program encourages finding valuable synchronicities among environmental measures such as cleaning, pest, and waste management policies, which creates a uniform and simplified submission method for the project.

SBP provided comprehensive LEED for Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance consulting services for the project. SBP navigated the team of property management, engineering and vendors through the feasibility & project planning, development of the path to compliance, pre-performance period set-up, oversight during the performance period on through the LEED application submission, reviews, responses and ultimate credit approvals. Some of the services in addition to the process management SBP provided on this project included:

  • ASHRAE Energy Audit
  • Custodial Effectiveness Assessment
  • Tenant Satisfaction Survey Facilitation
  • GHG Emission Reporting
  • Waste Stream Audit Support
  • ENERGY STAR Certification
  • Ventilation Testing and Verification
