4000 N. Fairfax is a multifamily residential apartment building located in the Ballston/Virginia Square neighborhood of Arlington, VA at the corner of Fairfax Drive and N. Quincy Street. The 330,000 square foot, 325-unit building has retail on the ground floor and 22 floors of residential units, amenity spaces, and terraces above. SBP provided comprehensive LEED New Construction consulting services for the project. SBP facilitated strategic sustainability planning throughout the design process and certification tracking assistance during construction. In addition to sustainability consulting, SBP performed LEED and code energy modeling as well as fundamental and enhanced commissioning. SBP also facilitated Arlington County permit submissions and Certificate of Occupancy coordination.
