SBP provided full service LEED® consulting, process administration, sustainable design consulting and peer review services for the Media Office fit out. Working closely with the client, LSM Architects, WSP Engineering and HITT Contracting, SBP helped the design and construction teams navigate the certification process — calculating credit, troubleshooting credit achievement issues and coordinating teamwork to garner the esteemed LEED® Platinum Certification. Integrated sustainability strategies included selecting durable, high-quality materials and furniture; cost-effectively blending old and new; amplifying energy efficiency, access to natural light, and collaboration spaces; improving technology; and creating flexible work conditions to promote employee satisfaction.
