BUILDING HIGHLIGHTS

This facility will serve the Johns Hopkins lacrosse program and will be located at the south end of the campus lacrosse stadium. This facility will be utilized for athletic programs as well as academic functions. The Lacrosse building includes locker rooms, offices, conference rooms and study halls. As part of the LEED NC Certification pursuit, SBP provide detailed whole building energy modeling analysis throughout the design process including incorporation energy efficiency measures. Additionally, SBP provided detailed utility rebate analysis through the BGE Smart Energy Savers Program. SBP helped analyze, identify, and prepare the required documentation in support of these rebates and worked directly with the BGE staff throughout this process. This project has an estimated energy cost savings of 37% relative to the equivalent ASHRAE 90.1-2007 baseline which would earn (10) LEED EA Credit 1 points (given the district system methodology).
