American Society of Civil Engineers

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is a 6-story LEED Gold Certified office building located in a suburban office park in Reston, Virginia. This facility earned a LEED EBOM v2009 Gold certification in August 2013. SBP provided consulting for Energy and Atmosphere credits as they pertain to the LEED for Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance program. SBP worked closely with property management and building engineers to develop an in-depth continuous commissioning program specific for the ASCE building. SBP provided multiple reviews of Energy and Atmosphere credit through out the LEED application submission, reviews, responses and ultimate credit approvals. Some of the services in addition to the process management SBP provided on this project included:

• Modeled Energy Savings & Analysis for ASHRAE Level I and Level II Assessments
• Review, React, Revise and Enhance previous building evaluations
• Developed on-going commissioning plan and strategy
• Reviewed ASHRAE 62.1 ventilation compliance
