Bowie State University - New Student Union

Bowie State University new student union is a 95,000 sf building that will include a three-story atrium/lobby, bookstore, ballroom, dining hall, and other amenities. The building is intended to serve as the new “front door” for the campus and be a showpiece for sustainable development on the campus. As part of the LEED NC Certification pursuit for this facility, SBP provided detailed whole building energy modeling analysis throughout the design process including incorporation energy efficiency measures, energy consulting, cost savings feedback and LEED EAp2 and EAc1 Performance.
