The University of Maryland College Park is designing/constructing a new centrally located president’s residence and event center to be utilized for institutional activities. The 350 capacity center will host fundraising events, high-level conferences, ambassadors and guest speakers. As part of UMCP’s pursuit of a LEED Certification for this facility SBP performed a whole building energy modeling in compliance with ASHRAE 90.1-2007 and LEED modeling protocol.
