SBP was proud to participate in this awarding winning, LEED Platinum Media Office fit out project in Washington DC. SBP provided full service LEED consulting, process administration and sustainable design consulting services for the project. Additionally, SBP provided peer review services related to energy performance and LEED quality assurance. Teamed with the client, LSM Architects, WSP Engineering, and HITT Contracting. SBP helped the design and construction team navigate the LEED Certification including trouble shooting credit achievement, credit calculations and guidance, team coordination helping to achieve LEED Platinum Certification.

From project on-set the team was dedicated to integrated strategies for evaluating sustainable space development from several different angles. High quality material and furniture selections, material sourcing and durability, cost-effective methods of blending old with new, furniture selection, energy efficiency, controllability, access to high quality views and natural light, breakout and functional collaboration space, seamless technology integration, flexible work conditions, and ultimately employee wellness and enhanced productivity.
