City Ridge

City Ridge is a 1.2 M SF mixed-use project in Northwest D.C. featuring residential, office, retail, and DC’s first Wegmans. SBP was instrumental in providing comprehensive energy modeling, energy code, and LEED support for each building as well as pursuing LEED V4 for Neighborhood Development (ND). SBP provided detailed hourly simulation analysis for all buildings including active participation in design meetings and building code evaluations. SBP provided several energy efficiency measures inclusive of envelope, HVAC, lighting, and controls during critical project deliverable and decision milestones. SBP worked with the project team to help navigate energy code compliance for each parcel, including documentation requirements, mandatory provisions, and the whole building Performance Path within DCRA. SBP is providing comprehensive LEED Consulting, IgCC services, energy code consulting, and Energy Modeling. This project has achieved the first LEED V4 for ND certification in Washington, D.C. achieving LEED Gold certification in May 2020. The project is still under development.
