Princess Anne Middle School

Princess Anne Middle School is a proposed new construction middle school in the Virginia Beach Public School system. It has been designed as a netzero-ready school with rooftop PV, a high performance lighting system and an advanced HVAC system including ground source heat pumps, energy recovery, and an HLR ventilation system. SBP performed whole building energy modeling with the goal of design optimization in support and LEED benchmarking and net-zero feasibility assessment. SBP also provided daylighting simulations and general consulting in support of LEED benchmarking.
