One Reston Crescent is a 6-story LEED Gold Certified Class A office building located in a suburban office park in Reston, Virginia.  This facility earned a LEED EBOM v2009 Gold Re-certification in May of 2013.  SBP provided comprehensive LEED for Existing Building consulting services for the project.  SBP help property management, engineers and vendors navigate through the initial planning, green program development, credit maintenance, performance period organized from the original LEED EBOM v2008 Certification.  This guidance assisted the Brookfield team to appropriately track all building practices and document credits during the LEED application preparation, reviews, responses, and ultimate credit approvals.  Some of the services in addition to the process management SBP provided on this project included:

  • ASHRAE Level I and Level II Audits
  • Building life cycle cost analysis
  • Custodial effectiveness assessment
  • GHG emission tracking and reporting
  • ENERGY STAR Certification
  • Carbon offset & renewable energy credits
