Commissioning
The primary goal of the Queen Anne Center project was to create a state-of-the-art facility to house the college’s
expanded performing arts programs, while also establishing a focal point on campus for social and community events. The project consisted of a 16,000 sf renovation in the existing performing arts center and an addition of approximately 158,000 sf to the building. Facility highlights included four theatre halls (totaling 1,375 seats), dance studios, recording studios, film/video production labs, galleries, and flexible classroom spaces. SBP performed fundamental and enhanced commissioning on the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls systems in the building and was critical to ensuring success on a project with such unique and diversified space types.
