LEED-CI
Pillsbury, a progressive law firm in the Washington DC metro center, has decided to pursue LEED for Commercial Interiors in its largest office. Having moved into a LEED Platinum building, Pillsbury wants to align its sustainability goals with the movement surrounding this area. SBP provides guidance to the project team as it works through the design and construction phases of the office build-out to help the project meet its sustainability targets. Pillsbury’s DC office conveniently allows staff to use alternative transportation and walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and surrounding offices. The office space will incorporate low-flow water fixtures, LED lighting, ENERGY STAR appliances, and provide staff with access to task lighting or dimming lighting for added comfort.
