Bowie State University

Bowie Statue University new student union is a 95,000 sf building that includes a three-story atrium/lobby, bookstore, ballroom, dining hall, and other amenities. The building serves as the new “front door” for the campus and is a show-piece for sustainable development on the campus. As part of the LEED NC Certification pursuit for this facility, SBP provided detailed whole building energy modeling analysis throughout the design process including incorporation energy efficiency measures, energy consulting, cost savings feedback, and LEED EAp2 and EAc1 Performance.
