Channel Square

Channel Square is an affordable housing major renovation project in Southwest Washington D.C. SBP worked with
the project throughout both phases of the project including a pre-renovation energy performance assessment all the way through certification under Enterprise Green Communities. As part of the preliminary energy performance assessment, SBP evaluated and quantified low/no cost and investment-grade energy upgrades for the facility and established an implementation plan. After implementation, SBP worked with the project team to help navigate energy code compliance, including documentation requirements, mandatory provisions, and demonstration of the whole building Performance Path compliance. Additionally, SBP provided support and general design evaluation, assessment, and benchmarking for the Enterprise Green Communities (EGC).
