SBP provided comprehensive LEED Consulting, Commissioning and energy consulting services for this 349,884 square
feet full block, mixed-use development site adjacent to Nationals Park in the heart of D.C.’s Capitol Riverfront community. In 2017, F1RST was acknowledged in multiple cases as one of the Best Apartment Buildings in D.C by The Washington Post, Washington Blade and Delta Associates. SBP managed the LEED Certification process including coordination of credit achievement for all disciplines encompassing documentation as needed to achieve LEED Silver for the apartment building and LEED Gold for the interior of the adjoining Residence Inn Capitol Hill/Navy Yard. SBP supported compliance with the Green Construction and Energy Code via the Performance Path. This multiple building and interior project was organized and Certified under a Master Site project and SBP coordinated multiple teams and multiple project Certifications.
