Woodlawn Fire Station

Woodlawn Fire Station is a 15,000sf facility located in a mixed-use suburban region of VA. As part of the LEED NC
Certification pursuit, SBP provided comprehensive LEED BD+C v2009 NC consulting services for the project. SBP provides strategic sustainability planning throughout the design process and assistance throughout construction. Woodlawn is pursuing LEED Gold through adhering to design and construction requirements across a variety of categories: site sustainability, water efficiency, energy efficiency, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation. This project is currently tracking to save over 51,000 gallons of water and 79,000 kwh of electricity per year. Woodlawn is also incorporating low mercury lighting, integrated pest management, and green building education.
