Xylem Water Solutions

Xylem Water Solutions is a commercial interior project that fit out the lobby and second floor of the existing Lumber Shed mixed-use building in SE Washington, DC (301 Water St SE). The fit-out includes private offices, open workspace, conference rooms, a multi-purpose room, and a break area equipped with a pantry. The project is located in a highly developed commercial and residential area within the Navy Yard of Washington DC. The original goal was to achieve LEED Silver. With the help of the project team, we were able to exceed this and achieve LEED Platinum. SBP provided comprehensive LEED v4 consulting for the project. SBP provided strategic sustainability planning throughout the design and construction process. Additionally, SBP provided commissioning (fundamental + enhanced) and energy modeling (LEED + code) services.
