Many Net-Zero consultants stop at the design table. SBP doesn’t. Too many Net-Zero projects are designed to perform on paper but fall short in operation — the gap between modeled intent and real-world performance is where ambition quietly erodes. SBP is built on a team of dedicated building performance engineers, architects, and specialists who close that gap by staying engaged well past design completion, through construction, commissioning, and into occupancy — because a Net-Zero building isn’t “achieved” at permit or turnover; it’s proven over its first years of operation.

From there, our holistic approach integrates a technically diverse team of experts in building performance modeling, MEP, enclosure system optimization, and sustainability, but we don’t stop with the design and construction team. Successful Net-Zero delivery depends just as much on ownership, property management, and facilities staff — the people who will run the building long after the design team has moved on. We bring those voices in early and keep them engaged throughout, so operational realities shape decisions instead of surprising everyone after occupancy.
